Background

Charles Institute of Technology (CIT) is a Registered Training Organisation and CRICOS Provider (03287M) owned by Hyung Chul (Charles) Kim. Charles Kim has been a practicing Dental Technician and Laboratory owner for 20 years.

Charles has provided quality work based training for many of the TAFE NSW Dental Technology graduates. Charles believes in consistent high quality training that is aimed towards what employers want and to address the national skill shortage. CIT will deliver the course of Diploma of Dental Technology to both domestic and international students.

We provide a supported progression from school to career, offering assistance to our students in finding employment. Our aim is not just to skill our students, but to build an attitude which sets them apart as outstanding employees. Our focus is to provide CIT’s students the ability to exceed their own expectations and create for themselves achievements at a level well beyond anything previously gained from school.

This Operational Business Plan outlines how CIT can transition from its current activities to become the education & training leader within the dental training sector in Australia. CIT believes that this aim will bring the Mission, Vision & Values to a wider audience. By extending our ethical and values based approach to training to students, we are able to reinforce the importance of learning and gaining knowledge.

The plan also specifies the opportunities provided by launching CIT into a broader market. This market includes becoming the RTO of choice for all international based education agencies seeking to access training services specialising in dental technology.
