The Diploma of Dental Technology is for people who would like to work in Dental Laboratories as Dental Technicians.

During this course you will learn how to :

  • Construct dentures, bridges, crowns and other dental appliances
  • Design, construct, modify and repair dental prostheses and appliances
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems which arise with materials and work techniques
Entry Requirements:

  • Be over the age of 18
  • Be able to demonstrate good command of written and spoken English
  • Have verified evidence of IELTS Level 5.5 or equivalent
  • Have completed an equivalent secondary schooling level of a High School Certificate (HSC) or can demonstrate suitable work or life experience
  • Meet the Student Visa (subclass 500) – Vocational Education and Training

25 units of competency of this qualification including:

Student Visa (subclass 500) – Vocational Education and Training requirements

All international students applying to enter the Diploma of Dental Technology(HLT55118) must:

  • Be of good character
  • Are of sound health
  • Demonstrate a good command of written and spoken English equivalent to general IELTS Level 5.5 or equivalent
  • Have acceptable health insurance through the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for yourself and members of your family unit accompanying you to Australia
  • Have no outstanding debts to the Commonwealth of Australia
  • Demonstrate the capacity to meet basic living costs requirements set by the Australian Government
